Goldberg was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, in 1930. She is also survived by many adoring nieces, nephews, and friends here and in France and Israel. In September 1996, Goldenberg acquired a new class of private bat mitzvah students, including an outgoing 12-year-old Petaluma girl.
